basically a military Beech 18. the AT-7 designation was used when it helped train pilots. a C-45 designation was used for a general purpose version. A heavily modified version called the AT-11 Kansan was used to train navigators and bombardiers by adding a plexiglass nose. it is in essence a slightly larger more powerful all metal version of the AT-17.
