MQ-9 Reaper unmanned reconnaissance aircraft (Code: Reaper) is a new type of unmanned combat aircraft developed by the United States. The aircraft can perform intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. The U.S. Air Force decided to put it into actual combat just after its combat test. In March 2007, the U.S. air force established the Reaper UAV Attack Squadron, and established a special "death" UAV working group to study tactics, train crew members and conduct actual combat exercises.
On February 12, 2014, the extended range MQ-9 Reaper UAV of general atomic aviation systems made its first flight.
