@SledDriver both. I'll see if I can't use rotators and airbrakes to make it work
@Simplemike What do you mean by not working properly? Are you trying to use flaps to increase lift, or slow down, or both? The former is not possible because SP doesn't calculate lift that way. If you want to slow down, it's best to emulate flaps using hidden airbrakes.

I know I have seen some nice MD-80 engines with reverse thrusters but I can not remember where I saw them @Simplemike . They would be nice to your B717 as the MD-80 and the B717 have similar engines.
And when you mirror the plane, just do the same thing again @Simplemike
Set the left flap to invert=YES and the right flap to invert=NO @Simplemike
