Volcano - Ground attacker
I wanted to make a quick but heavily loaded jet bomber to try my hand at arious Air-to-Ground weapons. I also wanted to implement actual design concepts for this type of plane : engines and intake at the top and at the rear to be protected from ground attacks and debris as well as fuel. A bit of dead weight in the front emulates the extra armor.
The main issue was, as with every jet with rear-engine poor stability. On real military jets, the onboard computer will make up for that, but there's no such thing in the game. It took me a while to figure the proper wing shape. I also came up with a new pitch control system. It was all trial and error but it turns out to work quite alright.
