I-95 Salutificator
"Come now, this is your refuge."
Many thanks to those who gave me constructive criticism. This aircraft wouldn't look nearly as good as it does now if it wasn't for their contributions...
Originally designed as an instrument in the war against crime, the Salutificator eventially found itself in a more peaceful role. Due to its performance and light armament, the Salutificator is now used as a rescue ship. It still has some weapons from its military/police predecessor, as it may need some firepower for self-defense.
This is a VTOL. It is very important to read the controls and tips.
Controls (Fairly simple):
- VTOL: Engine orientation
- Activator 1: Lights and night vision( in the cockpit)
- Activator 2: Searchlights (only cosmetic)
- Trim: Trim
Tips:
- Hover around 10% throttle. 7-8 percent is best for descending.
- Transition around 20-30% throttle. 100% will cause instability.
- Forward flight is best at 100 percent.
- Yes, the CoM is not at the CoT. The balancing was odd and this was done to make the ship somewhat balanced at 10% throttle.
- The balancing isn't the best, but the ship is stable. Other than that, standard VTOL!

@Razorblade Thanks! I'm glad that you like it!
This is sooooo awesooome! This is probably the most fun plane I have ever used! Honestly!
Wow!
Awesome! I love it!
Amazing ! A very sotisficated plane
Very nice build, easy to fly despite the balancing :)
Looks good!
COOL
@Ctracerx2 I also managed to watch the part of the livestream that included you flying this. Fun to watch!
Nice build!
@Ctracerx2 Go ahead! Have fun with it!
@JakeTheDogg It has been about 4 months since I build an aircraft with a really thin/long cockpit, although that is subjective, of course.
@JakeTheDogg Yes, although I do enjoy using a thin cockpit once in a while.
Awesome!
The beacons turned out great. I love how good it handles too. The search lights are cool too.
