3M22 Zircon Missile
The 3M22 Zircon (also known as Tsirkon)
A Russian hypersonic cruise missile developed by NPO Mashinostroyeniya. It is part of Russia's broader hypersonic weapons program and is designed to engage a variety of high-value targets, including warships and land-based installations. The Zircon's standout feature is its incredible speed, reported to reach up to Mach 9 (approximately 11,000 km/h or 6,800 mph), and its operational range is estimated to be between 1,000 and 1,500 kilometers.
The missile is powered by a scramjet engine, allowing it to sustain hypersonic speeds throughout its flight path. Its speed, combined with advanced maneuvering capabilities, makes it extremely difficult for existing air and missile defense systems to intercept. The Zircon is capable of striking targets within minutes, giving adversaries little to no reaction time.
The missile can be launched from various platforms, including surface ships, submarines, and coastal systems. The Admiral Gorshkov-class frigates and the Yasen-class submarines are among the primary carriers of the Zircon. Its versatility and performance have made it a critical component of Russia’s strategy to counter NATO’s naval and missile defense capabilities.
Russia officially announced successful tests of the Zircon in the late 2010s, and the missile entered service with the Russian Navy in 2022. The Zircon is seen as a strategic game-changer due to its speed, range, and ability to overwhelm modern defense systems, further intensifying the global hypersonic arms race.
Features:
• Zircon just like my KH-95 but land based, KH-95 just like my zircon but air launched
• Same missile different color and launch style
• funny radar
• VLS Cells, Activate 1 to arm and open hatch to missile
That's about it hopefully someone would put this on their ship and fire at another ship 😂
