In the late sixties, a proposition was made by Goss aircraft to build a nuclear interception system. The programme highlighted the need for supersonic speeds, super advanced radar, long range, and most of all a heavy payload. The design chosen was an enormous swing wing aircraft with a single tail and twin engine layout. It was named the ATI, or all target interceptor, as it was built to intercept any target capable of carrying a nuclear payload. The aircraft had to be huge to compliment it's massive long range radars, advanced flight computers, high fuel and weapons load, and large engines. Due to the efficiency of missiles, the project was scrapped. Takeoff power is 30%. Parachutes are group 1... Enjoy!
