Story:
March 1, 1947 . . .
A squadron of Japanese reconnaissance planes were flying over the coast of the U.S. They reported back to intelligence HQ that the company "Lockheed" were building many more P-38 aircrafts. After the most recent of Japanese carrier bombings, the Imperial Navy needed a new fighter capable of protecting the fleet. Kawasaki entered this, a sleek, brand new fighter while Mitsubishi just added a more powerful engine to the aging A6M "Zero." The Imperial Navy accepted Kawasaki's offer and ordered 100 of the new planes, 25 for each of their remaining carriers. They soon realized that this was the new "Super Fighter"

@QingyuZhou thanks
Oh. I found some Kawasaki planes with ki after, so I went ahead and named it that. And it could me army too. But thanks @AnoniMosu

sees navy plane
T R I G G E R E D
(lol)
Use Navy Designation, Ki is not for Kawasaki, it was the designation for the Army
this plane would be likely named the A9K, A8K or A7K not A7M, by chances.
(note competing aircraft designation is simply nearly the same. Example being B5M and B5N, two different aircraft for the same competition. Also note prototypes doesn't have short designations, instead it has No. () Carrier Fighter or something along the line.)
Your welcome
