The Xi'an MA600 (MA means "Modern Ark") is an improved version of the Xi'an MA60 produced by Xi'an Aircraft Industry Corporation, part of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC)

Xi'an Aircraft Industry Corporation launched its first turboprop aircraft, the MA600, on June 29, 2008. The MA600 made its maiden flight on October 10, 2008. The aircraft is equipped with new avionics, an improved passenger cabin and engines with increased thrust compared to the MA60.

The aircraft is equipped with Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127J turboprop engines and accommodates 60 passengers.

As of October 2018, more than 300 copies have been ordered.

Xi'an Aircraft Industry Co., the manufacturer of the MA600, noted that the successful test flight is an "important milestone" in Chinese domestic aircraft production. Managing Director Meng Xiankai said that the aircraft is expected to receive an airworthiness certificate and enter service in the second half of 2009, with the first delivery to the Flight University of Civil Aviation of China in Sichuan Province. Serial delivery will begin in 2010.

The aircraft will be equipped with Becker-Communications "DVCS6100 Digital Intercom System, Cabin Intercommunication and Passenger Address". The cockpit is equipped with a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics kit.
