So now I wasn't too lazy to think of a story, so here we go:
in 1985 the netherlands started a training plane project, so they could train troops in dogfighting. This plane was made out of plastic, and fake engines. But becuase of it succes as a AI controlled training plane, they started to design a actual fighter of it's concept to be used as defence. Now it is a very much used jet by the netherlands (yes I'm dutch) and is the base of SSTO planes (single stage to orbit)
The logo is made by deusalgor, credit to him. I will use this logo more, but I'll give him credit only on this plane, sorry
