Model 2 Fury Fighter
Use VTOL to control air brakes. Due to experiences in the Second War against Pilotmario Air Force Hawk jets, they sought to procure a fighter superior to the Hawk. With Leonan assistance, they developed the Fury, a lightweight interceptor capable of higher speeds than the Hawk. It also incorporated the Guardian missile, reverse-engineered from the wreck of a Pilotmario Air Force Hawk shot down by anti-aircraft fire. It was accepted alongside the Model 1 Hermes Fighter, another aircraft designed with Leonan assistance. These two combinations meant that during the Third War, the Pilotmario Air Force found its Hawks completely outmatched against the Model 1 and the Model 2. Only the Dart Interceptor, an aircraft available in very limited numbers, proved capable of matching the Hermes and the Fury. The Interceptor missile and procurement of the Dart were hurried in order to counter the new threat. However, there were few upgrades given the the Fury, and eventually, Pilotmario Air Force machines such as the Renegade and upgraded Dart Fighters were able to outmatch the aircraft. Even the Hawk received upgrades that allowed it to fight it on more even terms. It's small airframe lacked the amount of upgrades it could receive, unlike the Model 1. However, due to its immense performance, it was retained.
