IF-60 Starburst
The IF-60 Starburst is the first unstable aircraft that can not only fly straight, but also be competent in an actual fight. The fuselage and airframe was developed by Imperial Industries, but it is House Magnus that produces them.
Named after the weapon system it was designed around, the Starburst cannon, its overall manoeuvrability, despite being unstable, is inferior to its predecessors and some other modern aircraft. Its only advantage is its high-ish AOA. Its Post stall manoeuvring capability is limited thanks to its single ShatterV Engine, however, if taken lightly, your entire existence could be vaporised.
It also carries a Vulcan S, a 5 meter long minigun designed to fire as much bullets as possible, as accurately as possible. Not particularly useful in strafing, but great with dogfighting.
The Starburst Cannon is an experimental weapon designed by House Magnus to have the explosive capability to literally burst a star if needed. While this particular version is only capable of blowing up an entire fleet in just a few shots, its still formidable. The Starburst shell travels so quickly, it temporarily rips open the air, leaving behind a purple trail that lingers for no longer than a few seconds. It is so quick that a skilled pilot could snipe even the smallest aircraft from kilometres away. However, an aim assist system has yet to be developed.
During the Missile Conflict, the IF-60s would be seen flying in pairs of 3 and were sent on a variety of missions. One of the most common is fleet destruction. Thanks to the power of the Starburst cannon, fleets are not as much of a problem as they used to. IF-51s have as much hardpoints as it does because they had to deal with fleets. Simplest way is to launch cruise missiles, but they were heavy and couldn't carry much. So, they usually carried Torpedoes or bombs. The IF-60 however, does not need to carry any other armaments at all. The Starburst is capable of taking on air and ground targets. The option is also there to carry an additional 6 armaments of any kind. A multirole fighter with its flight performance as its only inferiority. This begs the question "is super manoeuvrability actually useful?" but both House Magnus and Imperial Industries assure Imperial High Command that the IF-60 is merely a proof of concept. Future unstable aircraft will be built upon the data gathered by the IF-60 and will also be incorporated into the LURK project.
The IF-60 would be retired after the Missile conflict.
(1 activates vector thrust on pitch and yaw. Can't do roll for there is only 1 engine. And also deactivates the Canards.
On VTOL is the flaps.
This is also the first time i tried using this mystical thing called Funky Tree. I won't be using it too often, for i genuinely do not know how it actually works, i just twiddled and watched youtube videos till it worked and saved the things that did work on notepad with descriptions so i can just paste them.)

It is also the one aircraft that i keep going back to. There always seems to be something i can change about it. Well, i did just say that its not as good as the IF-51. Hell, the Eagle 2 can probably out-turn it. Maybe even the Strelka. Though, as of the posting of this comment, it has not been released yet.
