Introducing the most well known missile in the world just after the Aim-9 Sidewinder, the Aim-54 Pheonix!

So, what's the deal with this Pheonix?

Does it work? Yes!
Does it have long range? Yes! 60 km to be exact!
Is it accurate? As close as I can get it!

The missile is 13 feet long with a 3 foot wingspan, coming in at just over 1000 lbs, just like the real deal. It has a max engagement range of 60 kilometers and a minimum engagement range of 3 km. The missile is not very maneuverable, but that's more realistic, right? The only thing I can't fix is the speed; it's pretty slow, about 1500 mph. That's the main reason for the far shorter range than an actual Pheonix, so you aren't waiting 4 minutes for an 80 mile kill. I'll try and make it faster but no promises. That being said, if anyone messes around with it and figures out how to make it fast, I'd appreciate the help!

As far as I can tell, this is the most accurate, besides the speed, Pheonix model to date on SimplePlanes.

How do I put it on my plane?

Simple! All you have to do is grab the pylon on top and drag it to the new subgroup tab and name it. Once you've done that, you can slap it on any jet you want, I've got the rest covered! Just make sure you attack the pylon and not the missile itself to your build.
