This is a basic model of a radar that fires a magnet with a camera that attaches to vehicles and objects, allowing for them to be tracked or be monitored. The dish is mostly cosmetic, but was previously meant to be used in a system where a launched flare would deflect off an object and hit a part of the dish showing its position, however that design did not function as intended.
