Well, conceptually. It's making something so impressive and unique that you get senpai (the community) to notice you.

Now, it's waaayy easier to get noticed thanks to the Spotlight system, since if you impress someone with as many followers as that Kardashian family, you will get a metric ton of upvotes. But you still need something vaguely impressive to do so still.
