@hypnotoad definitely uniqueness, handling, and functionality. Also if it is meant to be a replica it should look alike, but sometimes you compensate looks for functionality or handling. Looks are just a bonus to the package.

Right go on, my question to you good sir..... What is your personal preference on what constitutes a good plane on SP..... Handling, looks, closeness to replica likeness , uniqueness, functionality, and so on. I'd love to know what you look for.

Yes actually they are only around 10' though. He also collects old Johnson outboard motors.

Hmm my dad used to but that was back in the 90's when gas was the best option with batteries being a pound or more. Lately he has been biulding full scale wood boats.
