designed as a Propfan engine testbed, the Aero Systems Technology Demonstrator M.1090 was fitted with 2x Aero XTP-9078 Propfan engines in a configuration suspended above the wingroots, making the M.1090-III. M.1090-IV is designed for the same purpose, but to push the limit of said tech, by connecting the two engines via drive-shaft, to drive a sing contra rotating fan. --DISCLAIMER-- This aircraft is unstable on take-off and is not to be used in any way outside of development and improvement!
