Well it is also in the middle for balance issues, and there is no feasible other location for it@BroAeronautics
@Gemista so if there was a parachute on the other side it would cause autoroll, and if it was on the tail, it would move the CoM back, and if it was on the top or bottom it would cause drag?
@BroAeronautics that was the only place I could put the parachute without interfering with the flight characteristics

Why is the emergency parachute only on one side?
