F-5C Skoshi Tiger
Northrop F-5C Skoshi Tiger
The F-5C Skoshi Tiger was a modified F-5A sent to the Vietnamese theater for combat evaluation for the USAF in 1965. ("Skoshi" is Japanese for small.) Modifications included an aerial refueling probe, additional armor, and improved instruments. The F-5C flew 2,600 sorties over Vietnam and proved to be on par with the F-100D as an attacker. However, of the 12 Skoshi Tigers sent for evaluation, 9 were lost.
While the Skoshi Tiger program did not result in the F-5A entering US service, it demonstrated the F-5A's capabilities towards the international market. Read More...

Author's Notes
- Pretty sluggish in a dogfight with munitions still attached. This can be countered with VTOL or even better, dropping unneeded ordnance.
- No flares because it didn't have them. (Hear that, Gaijin!?)
- When landing, wait for all wheels to touch the ground before you start braking. When you brake, pitch downwards or else you will swerve.
- Hammerheads surprisingly well.
- The fuel on this plane is unlimited.
- The ammo on the gun is unlimited.

@ReinMcDeer Thanks
@ReinMcDeer so that’s a yes?
@MrTacito34 I might. It would be pretty easy to modify the F-4C, but I also want to redo the tail section with the new fuselage cutting techniques we have.
@Korzalerke Go ahead
Can you revamp the f-4E?
