A microjet for the 1 ton challenge. Light and maneuverable, it uses hemispherical landing bumps in place of traditional landing gear. Take off at 120 mph, and land as normal ( just pretend that you have landing gear- you don't have to try and belly land it). It can go past Mach 1 at altitude, and I recommend climbing high for any long trip. It also can glade fairly well and far, at high speeds.
