In the 1970s, China introduced the Soviet An-24 aircraft, based on which it copied the Y-7 aircraft. The Y-7 aircraft first flew on December 25, 1970, and entered civil service in 1986. This one is Y-7-100 The Y-7-100 is an upgraded version of the Y-7 with upgraded electronics, air conditioning systems, interior trim, winglet and stall warning system. The modified aircraft entered service in 1987.
