The HE 112 was a mono-wing fighter plane that was in compitition for Germany's new fighter for the up-coming war. With the overwheling prefomances of the new BF 109, Heinkel was shuned by Germans since it already had a bad reputation in aircraft manufacturing. Heinkel sought money by selling their HE 112s to Hungary and Romania where the planes were soon realized being obsolete and converted into trainers
