SRL-1 '170
So I realize in basically every military ever, there is that one guy off in the distance with a long barrelled rifle pickin off targets at considerable distances. And I lacked such a gun for the role...
Until today
The SRL-1 Is a super high powered rifle designed for picking off targets at ranges in excess of 10 km (6.214 miles). Unlike most powder rifles (like The Barrett m82) and magnetic railguns (like the Tsunami Defense Systems Nekomata), the SRL-1 uses artificial gravity well projectors to accelerate 50mm proximity fuse rounds to more than 10 times the speed of sound.
Now in terms of how the ammo works, as mentioned earlier, they are explosive rounds with a proximity fuse. Upon the distance required to hit their target, they detonate, radiating about 30,000° Celsius worth of heat, enough to instantly vaporize basically any common element, even tungsten.
This basically means even if the projectile misses the target by a few meters, the resulting heat will still enough to incinerate anything in a decent radius.
This level of power does come at a price though. For example, the gun stands at 2 meters in length, with no way to collapse it down. So have fun trying to conceal this.

@Nerfaddict Yes
this weapon, i guess
@LunarEclipseSP is that Some kind of reference to something I don't know?
Freedom SR
@TheRealJBerry thanks
@AWESOMENESS360 yep
@Nerfaddict ah ok, makes sense. And hey, perhaps in the future we’ll find a way to make things as light as a feather, even if built with typically heavy materials.
@AWESOMENESS360 i tend to use stupidly lightweight materials (mass scale is typically set at 1/100 normal weight, But i set the mass of this gun to zero as to make use of this gun easier)
I’m sorry but how is this entire thing only 5 grams in weight
@Nerfaddict Your welcome
@AtlasMilitaryIndustries thanks
Very cool!
