Wright Republic Air Force Light Fighter
During the Three Years’ War, the Wright Republic (WR) used the P4-RS light monoplane manufactured by Isles Consolidated for a variety of uses including dogfighting, souting, and patrol. When first delivered in 2391 G.T., it was the most advanced plane of the time with an unmatched top speed of 295 mph, a fixed armament of two .50 caliber machine guns, and the ability to carry drop tanks, greatly extending its range. These sturdy aircraft rained death and destruction on Krakabloa, once even killing the famous General T’ai Axel, until near the end of the war, when Krakabloan B1-PN biplanes fitted with machine guns started taking heavy tolls on Wrightian aircraft and ground vehicles. This model P4-RS was flown by ace pilot Lance Motte, bears a naval camouflage scheme belonging to the “Flying Buffoons” squadron, and holds two 10-gallon drop tanks.
