Like my replica of the real F4U corsair the wings fold in to allow more space on the aircraft carrier. Thats why some people describe the corsair as "carrier based." There was a great number of 12,571 F4U Corsairs that were built for different wars. My Corsair that I have built has working flaps, fold up wings and detailed guns.
