Designed in about 1945, Miles M.52 was the secret supersonic jet fighter designed in respose to Me.262. It was required to fly at 1000mph at 10000ft, so the innovative designers of Miles cooperation made this plane a winged bullet and the wind tunnel test proved that this plane can break the soundbarrier. But as this plane was close to finish, the subject was canceled and only a scaled model of this plane broke the soundbarrier. Its data was given to the Americans and they built the Bell X-1 with the data. The Bell X-1 broke the soundbarrier which really frustrated the British. So here I present you the origin of all the supersonic planes and hope you enjoy!

@Ownedpilot We gave the yanks all our information on supersonic flight, including things used in M.52, when it came time for them to share with us they cancelled the deal. X-1 was very much based on the M.52.
Love it!
@Ownedpilot And you're not wrong. No wonder.
To be honest, I think this plane is the father of Bell X-1@Ian1231100
Looks like the X-1
