It's a ball, with spikes. Yup, I do believe my script is doomed to failure, this is probably its crowning accomplishment. The sweet swirl pattern is simply the result of an unintended glitch, a glitch that my knowledge in euclidian math ( which equals just about 0, or maybe exactly 0 ) will never likely be enough to fix. Now I'm doomed to making funny sphere balls that only serve to remind me of the shame I must now endure. Enjoy the shame that is now my life.

@JovianPat ok. but i divided by zero a lot wheb i was little, and didnt know otherwise. time and space should be completely destroyed and nonexistent. ;)

@TheTMac No it's Ok. Btw the meme means that if someone divides something by zero, they will shatter the time and space! XD

@JovianPat Dividing vy zero is impossible. dividing by zero will give you an u defined number, which has infinite y values for only one x value.

This is what happens when you divide by zero.

@bjac0 Wish that was the problem, but it's actually far more messed up than that. The only reason the lines look like they might be close the being an actual sphere is because of the angled grid pattern of the original model. I have another script that actually is much closer to the correct solution, but it failed in some key areas of the sphere.

@NumNumz The shape my script is in, it's not worth it. It would be easier at this point for someone with the knowledge to just make a new script from scratch than to try and fix my messed up thing. It's only about 188 lines, including comments.

The angle of the panels are inverted now, if you invert they're coordinates but keep the angle, then it should look some what more like a full, not-spikey ball

Share your script, and people will improve it. It's like that old addage: If you build it, they will come.
