Let's make one last challenge in 2023.
Newcomers are welcome!
RULES: -> READ!
1) Must be a successor (download this and start building on it)
2) Maximum is 200 parts (More than 200 will disqualify, but any lower part count is fine)
4) It must be a classic fighter jet (roughly made between the 1940s-1980s)
6) Extra points for wise and creatively used parts
7) It has to fly nicely.
8) up to 3 entries, please (only the best one will count for the prize. But all of them may get upvotes if they are great)
9) XML editing is encouraged, but no modding, please
10) Encourage beautiful, solid builds with nice flying characteristics. Adding a cockpit does not earn extra points for this challenge.

The Solid Build Example
SOLID BUILD Examples, this is made out of only 96 parts, No VR cockpit needed, Now you have 200 parts to work on, so be creative more than this - Photo credit to @QuesoAirlines for allowing me to use this.
For your inspiration:
Most of them, Except 5th gen fighters such as F22 and F35
For Newcomers:
If you are new, 1) Download this post
2) Build the plane on your own from it
3) After you finish and are satisfied with your work, post it as public. That's it.
(Do not post as "Unlisted" which will take you away from the Challenge. In case of successor link is broken, you could ask the Mods to fix it. But they got thousands of players and I don't want to bother them)

As every challenge, I try to make one plane to honor those who join the challenge - here is
the Sounder Roe SR53 Rocket Interceptor
to honor all pertinent in this challenge.
I've finished reposting It so it has the correct photos and videos so its page actually looks good now. It also now includes some quality of life changes to make it better, like fixing the landing flaps and lowering the detach force on the hardpoints so that the rockets are more accurate and that the ordnance dosen't kill you if you decide to eject it while on the ground. These were changes made after, so WinsWings, you don't have to grade the repost because it has slight changes to the original.
@MrPanzer My pleasure. So glad to know that
@WinsWings Thank you for hosting this challenge! We couldn't have done any of this without your influence and guidance, so thank you WinsWings!
This challenge is closed. I am start judging the air planes, and will post the prizes once done. I hope I could finish this week. Thank you ALL for joining this challenge. I saw lots of amazing planes and this is a tight challenge.

@Yourlocalhuman You can get away with some fighter bombers like the F111 or Su24, etc. But stick to the fighters for this challenge
So its just fighter jets only? No bombers? : (
