The R-7A "Semyorka" (NATO name SS-6 Sapwood) was the world's first ICBM, developed by the Soviets. The missile is famous for being the main big baddy of the Cuban Missile Crisis, as well as being the basis for the Sputnik I's carrier, ever so simply titled "Sputnik". The Sapwood was fitted with a 3 Megaton warhead, and was built En Mass.
