McDonnell Douglas F-4N Phantom II (Remastered)

3,012 Cutters127  3.0 years ago

This is a definitive version of my F-4N Phantom II based on EngineerOtaku's F4H-1 Phantom II.

New Features Includes:
1. Cockpit Views for the pilot and RIO.
2. Drooping Ailerons when using the flaps.
3. US Navy aircraft markings and roundels.
4. A hydraulic piston for raising the main cockpit view when landing.
5. A Catapult Bridle for accurate carrier take-offs aboard USS Beast.

Main Controls and Activation Groups:
A & D = Ailerons
W & S = Elevators
Q & E = Rudder
AG1 = Arrestor Hook
AG2 = Folding Wings
AG3 = Release Bombs
AG4 = Jettison Center Fuel Tank
AG6 = Drag Chute
AG7 = Release Catapult Bridle
AG8 = Master Arm for the main weapons
VTOL = Flaps and Drooping Ailerons

Note: When performing a catapult take off from USS Beast, do not go to full throttle or you'll throw your nose against the deck of the carrier and explode!!!

Steps on How to make a proper catapult Take Off:
1. Approach the catapult area and get hooked up.
2. Keep Throttle at 10-20% and Flaps down to take off and Pitch trim up.
3. Engage throttle to 60-70% and immediately press the catapult launch button.
4. Once airborne, press Activation Group 7 to release the bridle and retract the gears and flaps, reset the trim and enjoy the flight.
