FE-109 (V3) Fighter aircraft
With supplies running short, only the most fuel efficient of planes could be used in large numbers. The FE-109 mark XI, using a standard supercharged V8, was considered one of the most efficient of the planes they had. Unfortunately, the plane had horrible defensive capabilities, and was simply out of its element in the late stage of the doomed war. Nearly half a million planes were made during the entirety of the war.
