The Fliegenkiste which translate to Flying crate (boxcar) in respects to its boxy shape and purpose it is a twin-prop engine, low wing, fixed gear Transport aircraft. It is a medium transport aircraft able to Ferry Troops and cargo over long distances and land on almost any suitable airstrips, improving the logistics capability of the air force and army . Due to its versatility, It is also able to perform paratrooper drops as well by ferrying them to drop zones.

As it is a transport aircraft, the boxcar does not posses any armaments to defend itself, however it boast a moderate top speed of 350km/h which could get it in and out of most operations fairly quickly. The Boxcar also features a rear facing ramp in addition to its side doors, this ramp allows it to deploy/ drop supply crates or even paratroopers in quick succession. Speaking of paratroopers, the Boxcar is able to hold 14 Paratroopers in its cabin, allowing for 1 plane to be able to deploy an entire platoon worth, making it an excellent troop transport as well.

Actually 'Fliegenkiste' translates as 'crate of flies'. You want 'Fliegende Kiste' for flying crate or 'Fliegerkiste', a pilot's vrate
