after my first drawing on the Hatchet (7 years ago) a lot of the people I knew at the time to have experience in aircraft design expressed doubts about it's ability to fly, so I designed a slightly more conventional aircraftwhich is basically the equivelant of a Super-corsair with a Me109 tail. hence the Privateer came into being, it also became a vehicle for an over-the-top story I tried to write.
