@AviownCorp in sandbox mod an AI exist that could fly your own plane. you can set how frequent they appear by gong to settings- game settings - AI Traffic. As long as the plane is within the 7 wings and 150 total parts limit that plane will naturally appear as an AI plane.

@AviownCorp actually its still the same plane. what i did was just to replace the extra wings to structural panels, changed the gun to a normal one and recolored it to suit my tastes. I've yet to see it actually fly in the sandbox because there is a bug with how the AI is spawned
