NB-18C “Hammerhead”
Entering into service in the late 1990’s with The Trojan Empire’s Navy, this stealth fighter-bomber was used for many years. This version, armed with conventional ordnance, was the C model. (The A models were the orginal prototypes and the B models were built for the Trojan Army Air Support Wings.) Capable of supersonic speeds at sea level, she was the one of the fastest bombers in the world, but they were still easy prey for fighters. Thus they relied entirely on stealth, the pilot skills, and a lot of flares and chaff to stay safe! The controls are normal, but their is no rudder (yaw) control because of the fact that the flying wing becomes inherently unstable when yaw is applied. This is my first aircraft to ever fly with canard control surfaces so feedback is appreciated if you have any! This aircraft is armed with 4 500 lbs bombs, 1 air to air missle, and a 20mm nose mounted cannon. Fire the rockets (renamed aerial smoke) for a cool exhaust effect when flying. AG1 for the tail hook. Safe Flying - TAS
