The Curse

The Curse, so called due to the resemblance of it's fuselage to a symbol of the Old World understood to signify paranoia, betrayal, suspicion; is a massive, rare aircraft originating from the Atlantic Seaboard's relatively marginal city of Pittsburgh. This city had recently seen a coup that overthrew it's old governing aristocracy descended from pre-Crumbling corporations and put a personalist government at the top that sought to carve out an empire. While this enterprise ultimately fell short after having taken over lands in Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia due to the founder's death and unclear sucession, several of it's sucessor states would join Fortia as it expanded Northwards.

The Curse was built for two purposes: the first was as a symbol of the city's reindustrialization and the new regime's might. The second was that, due to the new ruler's imperial aspirations, a fit aircraft was needed to establish alliances, mostly with the USS. Ultimately, an extra three were built as bombers, of which two were lost in combat. It's twin-tailed design, reminiscent of the ancient sigil's "legs" was made to easen loading of the aircraft.

Note: Remove the wings, and you shall witness the saigil mentioned in the description
