Soviet Beriev Be-6
Primarily a reconaissance aircraft, the Be-6 was also capable of carrying arrangements of bombs or torpedos, or deploying mines. Her maiden flight took place in 1949. A total of 123 of these aircraft were produced until their decomissioning in the late 1960s. I first saw this beauty in WarThunder and said to myself: “I should make a replica of that!” So I did. This particular build has the largest part count and took the longest time of anything I’ve ever made. I think she’s also my third Russian aircraft replica, so I should probably give other countries more attention... She’s 1:1 scale, heavy, and impossible to take off from the water with (though landing is a breeze). CONTROLS: VTOL=turret rotation, TRIM=landing trim (you will also need a bit of trim to keep her at level flight angle) Please enjoy this as I enjoyed assembling her on my iPhone!
