I always wondered what if Lockheed decided to modernize their venerable C-130 to something with a turbofan instead of a C-130J. So take the cockpit and front fuselage and make it more aerodynamic. Keep the overall fuselage. Add a slightly swept wing with two turbofan engines. Throw on a more modern empenage ala the C-17/C-390. This is my little work in progress.
