The tank is a modification of the M3 Stuart made to make it an IFV.

ARMAMENT

It gets a 90mm grenade launcher and many M2s.

HISTORY

In 1952 Golden Tree was forming its first army with mostly old WW2 designs. The most imported tank was the M3 Stuart light tank, relegated to the role of tank scout and artillery marker. Some years later, in 1964, it’s effectiveness got worse, so GS (the army) searched for a substitute for it. The choice would have been an IFV, how which they selected the Swedish PBV301 and the French AMX-VCI, but neither was too special. Another thing was proposed, and it was a modification of the M3s. So, The GS-3 Stuart modification replaced itself, basically. The GS-3 IFV mod consisted in the use of a 90mm grenade launcher and an upgraded communication ability. Later, in 1985, it received the FENi-X upgrade (the one in the post) were it got:
•Fire power upgrade, to get new VT shells, HESH, HEAT, and more HE explosive filler in the grenade
•ERA, to withstand the new ATGMs and chemical projectiles
•Night vision and thermal sights for night ops
•Up to date FCS (named X)
