USS Casco
449 Spitfire123
6.7 years ago
The USS Casco was a criminally underrated ironclad monitor from the Civil War, that spent most of it's time patrolling the rivers of Virginia, searching for Confederate ironclads to send to the bottom. Casco didn't do much of that before it was converted into an honestly freakish torpedo vessel, and stayed that way from around 1864 until it was scrapped.
