Auto Credit Based on MaxB17's CHALLENGE : OLD AIRLINERS ( 1950-1975 ) CLOSED
This is my entry to the old airliners challenge. The DC-3 was one of the first commercial planes, with its first takeoff in 1949. This model does not have a great cockpit but if you don’t look at it, it won’t bother you. Vtol down retracts the landing gear.

Oh. Ok then @enzoBoeing757
@SanitaterAirlines i dont think so.
@enzoBoeing757 I think my sources were referring to the commercial variants
@SanitaterAirlines if it took off in 1949 how could it have existed in world war 2? it first flew before the war 1930s not after the war
1949? but it competed as a Military in 1940s, how can it be after the war?
Thank you. Since this one looks ugly and cannot fly, I am uploading a revamped version. @MaxB17
Nice plane!
