Fw 188 Glassitz
In 1938 the Germans needed a fast, long range, and good visibility all in one. Focke-Wulf and Heinkel joined the competition but Focke-Wulf won with their design of the Fw188. The Fw188 "Glassitz" (Glass Seat) is a single engine recon/fighter plane. It was used until Germany lost the war thanks to its usability. Armed with 2 20mm cannons and 2 15mm machine guns, more powerful armament than the Bf-109E-4. The airplane is very strange being in pusher configuration with twin booms and a full glass cockpit like the He-111. This plane needed a medium size run way thanks to its large cockpit, but it's powerful engine could let it climb at 300mph. In the field many modifications where made like, better propellers, and more armament. A common defect is that one of the back wheels would break off but take off would be unaffected and only caused a slight roll issue. Taxing was also difficult thanks to the 4 wheel setup and the pusher configuration. This plane might not of been very areodynamic but it's fast in a dive to around 500mph and amazing energy retention.

@ElGatoVolador oh it looked a lot like the Focke Wulf 189 though then I just realized the fw189 has rap engines :)
@shipster This plane is fictional, not real, good job finding a similar plane.
It is called the Focke Wulf 189 not 188!
That cockpit view though. Its pretty great.
man, i love your cockpits!
@CaesiciusPlanes Yes, I XML edited the color of to bullets to resemble real German tracer fire, the green is the 15mm and the red is the 20mm, f you notice too the green fires faster than the red.
@CaesiciusPlanes The plane I got the inspiration from is the Fw-189 Uhu, and that one is real.
@CaesiciusPlanes No, it is by real but it certainly does look real. :P
