Re-definition of the old f86 I had made. Been a project on and off for a couple months and am done with it for the most part, probably going to make an F-40 Sabre later. The F86 entered U.S service in 1949.
The swept wing fighter improved many things from current aircraft with subsonic speed, hydraulic control surfaces, and leading edge slats. The A-5 model is the first model used and saw use in the early days of the Korean war against the MIG15 "Fagot"(NATO designation). The Fagot proved to be formidable against the F86 on paper but with many inconcistancies and poorly trained pilots it wasn't as close as it would seem. The F86 recieved many upgrades through the war with later variants making swift work of migs.
