Some of y'all may think I'm stupid for just figuring this out now, but I'm proud of myself, so you can go wack your head on a fire hydrant. This is mainly for iOS users who can't change the XML files on the game. This glitch can be used to make wing struts like on an old bi-plane or to place some oddly located vertical stabilizers on wings. I know for sure that I'll be using this glitch soon. You do this by first building a structural support(orange) that reaches out to the desired location for the oddly locationed wing(blue). Once you have the oddly shaped wing on there(blue) build your normal wing(yellow on to the other side, crossing the point at which your odd wing(blue) would attach if it could. Then mirror the odd wing(blue), and only the odd wing( NOT the orange too) to the other side where it should stick in place into the wing. You can then remove the orange and mirror the finished wing (yellow with blue) onto the other side. I hope this helps some of you.

which ones? making them long, overlapping them like on many of the backs of my planes, or doing the double nose cone fuselage? @mufasa6896 maybe I'll post a mother demo, that would probably be easiest to understand. I can't make long noses though, that's in walrus's line of duty

Another wing tip - attach a wing on the edge of a block instead of the center: 1.) Take 1 block and 1 wing and attach them as normal. 2.)Add 0.25 of dihedral (that's one click). 3.) Add a short piece of wing to the end and rotate twice to face back to the block. 4.) Prepare another wing which is equivalent to the first wing length minus the short wing length. 5.) By grabbing the last wing you created by the end (small attacher block) you should be able to connect this to the second wing as a bridge between wing and block. 6.) Now rotate this once so it is no longer connected to the other wings. 7.) Remove the other wings. 8.) Rotate the remaining wing until it is back to the original angle. This should now stay in the location you left it when loading the game environment.

For the glitch that I used here you don't have to do anything with the XML, I'm an iOS guy, so tbh I don't fully know how to do that myself. Questions make a much better person, so never be afraid to ask, and I would consider that a beginner's question. I would ask @WalrusAircaft or @Authros that question if I were you @FlOu

@ElijtheGeat Three questions. How can I change the XML, which one have I to change and what have I to do? Sry for the beginner questions :-)

I do this all the time. Just take a look at my dune buggy. But congrats for figuring it out. I somehow did it accidentally.

My CL-84 you rated is full of this sort of black magic. I built a body around a skeleton, then removed the skeleton. Not done with mirroring, but a similar result. The wing pieces seem to have a versatile sort of "stickiness"

Sharing tricks is a swell way to be. A level playing field is more fun.
