(Thanks to Aviationfilms109 for allowing me to make builds for his dieselpunk universe) The Dragonfly Super Heavy Fighter was built by Bandit ace Timaeus Olecksandr in 1947 for the sole purpose of hunting ERF Airships. The aircraft was quite unique from other Bandit aircraft, especially the custom built twin 7500 horsepower engines that powered the planes 6 props. It was armed heavily, 12 machineguns, 1 80mm cannon in the nose, and 2 500lb bombs in the bay. In the hands of Timaeus and his crew (Pilot, Radio Operator, Navigator/Loader, Loader) the Dragonfly took down a total of 7 ERF airships and countless merchants. The Dragonfly wouldnt be winning many turnfights, but it was extremely good in the vertical. It was capable of climbing to almost 25,000 feet in a 90 degree angle before stalling, and could swoop down on unsuspecting fighters only to go straight back up again. After earning a fiersome reputation the Dragonfly was finally destroyed in the 1951 Battle of the Northern Approaches after crashing into the newly built Venescia, sister of the Victoria airship, while pursuing an ERF ace through the clouds. Controls: AG1 and Vtol for bomb bay, AG7 for landing gyro, and normal flight controls. (The Gyro isnt required to land put helps alot because for some reason the thing likes to tip more than it should while landing) This version has gunsights because I forgot them on the other one :(
