SeabCo Eagle FG.1

3,493 Seabo14  8.7 years ago

After an erroneous test flight report by a junior employee of SeabCo, Eagle FGR.1 pilots were put at a great risk to Jackdaws. SeabCo quickly responded with the FG.1, with improved engine, and variable sweep wings. It can easily match the Jackdaw for speed, although has a lower rate of climb, but is more manoeuvrable. Takeoff - press AG.3 (afterburner) then sweep wings all the way forward. -25 VTOL is a good cruising setting, and pitch response increases as you go up on the slider, so for tight turns, move the wings to about +25. Forward swing-wing and around 10% throttle is a good strafing setting. AG.1 for infernos, AG.2 for Boom 50.

@PikeovlevPlanes I forgot to add them, this is almost a ground attack aircraft. I'll add more in a later variant. Challenge entry coming soon!

You've made the speed comparable to a jackdaw, but removed all air 2 air armaments, it is now defenceless. Why?
