BELLY TAKEOFF AND LAND
The KAI 96 is a multirole space fighter that can take off and land from almost any planet that has a decent atmosphere. In Kepler 90f, it is capable of well over 1000mph and high maneuverability. These specs can vary depending on the planet it is at, but it sure is a very capable craft in almost any situation. These multirole craft are armed with state-of-the-art weaponry only, including 2 KMI 39's, which are air-to-air, long range, fire and forget, high expl... losive lithium packed missiles, 2 KMI 47's, which are short range, air-to-air, semi-active, antimatter missiles and 2 KMI 13's, which are short range, semi-active, highly radioactive cobalt 60 packed, air to ground missiles. For close range dogfighting, it is also packed with 6 automatic, rapid fire, 53mm high explosive, incinerary, armor piercing bullets. The only drawback is that the fuel might not last long in some planets. Due to its high firepower, maneuverability and speed, the Kepler 90 air force made the KAI 96 the main interplanetary fighter and attack craft of the system.
