How to find the Ice Base location easily?
Step 1: Find Ice Base Assault location.
Step 2: Use Ice Base Assault as starting location.
Step 3: Apply full throttle, retract landing gear, and activate Air-to-Ground mode. You are now approaching so fast, the SAM batteries don't have time to react.
Step 4: Point your bomb reticle on Ice Base. At the last moment, release bomb and pull up. The SAM batteries should be toast now.
Step 5: Fly to the sea, retard throttle to flight idle (0% but engines still on) and head back towards the Ice Base. As your speed decays, apply VTOL down for flaps.
Step 6: Extend landing gear and gently fly your plane onto Ice Base runway. Apply brakes and stop.
Step 7: Enjoy your newfound location.
The usual controls, trimmable pitch. VTOL for flaps.

When you approach at 2000+ knots and release the bomb 0.5 mile away, countermeasures don't have time to react.
The Ice Base countermeasures hits bombs.
