@TheUltimatePlaneLover I won't leak if it's unreleased rn
Just found this in the [Unlisted No Tags] search tag
@TheUltimatePlaneLover sweet
@Monarchii Eh, 2.5 works for me since I normally use the factor on my FSF jets (right now they're all first gen but the speed is nice)
Didn't know I could use it for ships though, I'll keep that in mind whenever I build my next one
@TheUltimatePlaneLover oh yeah. hell, I wouldn't even recommend going over 2.. unless added speed is exactly what you need, like in ships when turning.
@Monarchii I wanted to make a plane with 10x liftScale but turns out lift can boost speed if overdone, 3 is the highest safe value I could reach
@TheUltimatePlaneLover oh dear XD
@Monarchii True lol, the [liftScale] variable can be helpful in the wings, but overdoing it can be a mistake (one of my upcoming planes can actually get close to the airfield via AI, but it never touches down probably because the wings have too much lift lol)
makes me kinda hope that maybe in SP2, they have an XML line in the cockpit for that purpose, like for "propellers" or "jets" and all that so it an be tuned to land properly
@TheUltimatePlaneLover AI really needs good-lift planes to land and jets(especially realistic ones) tend to feel like they lack that lift XD
@Monarchii Alright good idea lol
@TheUltimatePlaneLover don't subject it to landing-
@Monarchii So uh
What should I do
@TheUltimatePlaneLover oh yeah.. ai.......
@Monarchii Nah, it's when the Vagabond is flown by AI, so nothing I can really do about it ;-;
I'm pretty hardcore as a pilot so by the way the AI lands it I would literally just drive it up to the runway like a car lol
and don't be conservative with power, my Needle Binder is also ass with that XD
@TheUltimatePlaneLover then dont land it on the beach- better overshoot than undershoot cause then you're still landing on the runway you gi-
@Monarchii Yeah, but here's the real crisis: I don't have anything to get it off the beach one it lands ;-;
@TheUltimatePlaneLover oh, the way it's landing is exactly the same as my Needle Point Binder with how unstable it is lmfao XD, lack of lift pretty much lol
@Monarchii Well, I recently discovered that this has trouble on landings and will often bail off the coast of Wright. You can spawn it into Wright Final Approach and see for yaself...
@TheUltimatePlaneLover sure, could use a mallet-whack with how relatively silent it has been within the community
@Monarchii Man...
Well since you're here, wanna hear about an ongoing crisis (don't worry it's nothing too serious it's within SP)?
@TheUltimatePlaneLover checks out
@Monarchii @Rb2h got in
I didn't know you could do that (pinned comment)
@TheUltimatePlaneLover yes?
@Rb2h Man
Well I think this post has a public derivative so it's chill lol
