Development

Made in 1955 and enter service in 1958,the Delta Bow or more commonly known as "Dow", was made to fulfill the needs for a modern,high speed and all weather interceptor to protect Malei's airspace and waters from any intruders. As the name suggests it carry only two missiles for the interception job and work in pairs. The Dow received a highly sophisticated electronics and radars that can detect enemy aircraft in 50 miles range.

History

The Dow was a great interceptor for its era. It was replaced by a much more modern aircraft for the job but still serve until 1975.
10000 units were produced and half of it were exported.
